Amazon will invest Rs 1.23 lakh crore in India. This amount will be used for expansion of artificial intelligence i.e. AI and cloud infrastructure in the country. It will provide employment to around 38 lakh people in the country. The company's CEO Andy Jessie made the announcement after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to India. The company will invest a total of ₹8.31 lakh crore by 2030 The special thing is that the company has asked to invest about 4.53 lakh crore rupees in India within 6 months. Earlier in December 2025, Amazon had talked about an investment of 35 billion dollars i.e. about 3.30 lakh crore rupees in India. This investment will be made between 2026 to 2030. At the same time, between 2010 and 2030, Amazon's total investment in India will be more than 88 billion dollars or about 8.31 lakh crore rupees.
