Now, in the new delimitation after the 2025 census, the assembly seat may increase from 182 to 210. That means after 27 years there will be an increase in assembly seats in Gujarat. Along with the new delimitation, as the government has also made preparations to pass the law regarding 33% women reservation in the Lok Sabha and the Legislative Assembly, the new delimitation will also announce the reserved seats for women, currently there are 13 women MLAs out of 182 seats in Gujarat.
